Hello
Hi, I’m Frankie – and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.
I help people explore the hidden parts of themselves, notice patterns shaping their lives, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Tracing Patterns
As I’ve grown and reflected on my own story, I’ve come to see life as a tapestry woven through generations. The threads of fear, coping, and belief that shaped my childhood weren’t mine alone - they were handed down, stitched into the lives of my parents, grandparents, and beyond. My path has been about tracing those threads, understanding them, and choosing which to carry forward, and which to leave behind.

In my career as working with children, young people, and families affected by domestic abuse, I’ve seen this truth play out over and over. Old patterns shape relationships, limit emotional expression, and influence how we connect and care. I help people notice, understand, and shift these inherited patterns, cultivating freer, more conscious ways of being.
My Journey into Shadow Work
My journey into this work began during my own struggles. Living with depression and disordered eating, I often felt disconnected from myself, weighed down by patterns I didn’t fully understand. Over time, through slow, sometimes messy inner work, I discovered the profound power of meeting myself with curiosity and compassion - noticing the parts I had hidden, ignored, or pushed away, and allowing them to be seen.

Everything shifted for me when I discovered Shadow Work. For years, I had analysed and understood my trauma, but I hadn’t fully processed it. Through immersive 5-hour Shadow Integration sessions, I learned what it truly means to feel, move through, and integrate hidden parts of myself. The experience was transformative - a magical process that inspired the name of my practice, Like No Other Therapy, and is the foundation of the work I now offer.
A Bit About Me...
I grew up in rural North West England before moving to London to study Social Policy at the London School of Economics. After a management role in the NHS, I realised my true calling lay in work aligned with my values of honesty, healing, and genuine human connection. Since then, I’ve been walking my own (non-linear!) path, exploring the parts of myself I’d long ignored and the patterns shaping my life.

Currently, I live in Bristol with my husband and our cheeky, fluffy dog. Not long ago, we spent time travelling and living on the road in a camper van - a chapter that deepened my love of freedom, adventure, and simplicity, values I carry into both my life and my work today.

Training and Personal Practice
As part of my ongoing personal and professional development, I've completed a two-year Shadow Work Practitioner training with Marianne Hill at Healing the Shadow and am also an ICF-certified Life Coach. I've undertaken a 10-day silent Vipassana meditation retreat, exploring the transformative power of deep silence, presence, and self-observation.

Alongside my private practice, I work with children and families who have experienced domestic abuse, supporting children through therapeutic play and working alongside parents as they rebuild their lives. Through this work, I see first-hand how children adapt to the environments around them, how patterns can move through generations, and how meaningful change becomes possible when those patterns are understood with compassion rather than blame.

I have also trained in the Solihull Approach, a relationship-based model that explores attachment, emotional regulation, and connection within families. Together with my shadow work training, this has deepened my understanding of how our earliest relationships shape the way we experience ourselves, others, and the world around us.

My interest in this work is also personal. Like many people, I've spent time reflecting on the patterns I inherited, the ways they shaped me, and the parts I hope not to carry forward. Long before becoming a parent, I have been drawn to understanding what gets passed down through families and what it takes to create something different. That remains at the heart of the work I do today.

I'm committed to ongoing growth and learning, allowing my practice to evolve alongside me. My aim is to create a space where people can slow down, be seen, and explore the patterns shaping their lives with greater awareness, choice, and compassion.

How I Work
If you choose to work with me, I want you to know that I don’t see myself as a therapist who “has it all figured out.” I see us as equals - you’re the expert on you, and I’m here to walk alongside you. At the same time, I bring my experience, training, and deep care into the space we share, holding it with skill and compassion so you can feel safe enough to explore what’s been hidden and discover what’s waiting underneath.

It’s in this balance - my guidance and your truth - that transformation becomes possible. Together, we can uncover the patterns that have shaped your life, meet the parts of yourself that have been silenced, and open the door to new ways of being - both for you and for the generations who come after.
